Picking up the pieces

Herb Dirnberger (right) loosens a board on the foundation of a garage Sunday at the home of his aunt, Marie Kluesner, on Plumosa Street in New Hamburg. Dirnberger and other family members spent Halloween cleaning up debris from last week's tornado, which broke out a window in Kluesner's home, blew down five trees in her backyard and demolished two of her sheds and garage.
