SIKESTON -- Pauline Henley Limbaugh, 98, died at 7:55 p.m. Nov. 27, 2003, at Miner Nursing Center.
Born Jan. 11, 1905, in New Madrid County, daughter of the late William M. and Etta Barnett Henley, she had been a licensed practical nurse at Missouri Delta Medical Center prior to her retirement. She was a member of the First Church of Nazarene in Sikeston for 70 years and was active in the church's special music selections.
On Dec. 20, 1930, in Caruthersville, she married Ernest L. Limbaugh who preceded her in death on April 25, 1977.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Bobby Lee Orr and Billy Orr; three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include: two sons, Danny Limbaugh of Sikeston and James Limbaugh of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Jackie Sailors of Sikeston and Betty Emmons of San Dimas, Calif.; three sisters, Ruby Story Triplett of Sikeston, Earldine Hunter of Sacramento, Calif., and Loretta Stephenson of Sikeston; and 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday with the Rev. John Bouldrey, pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene in Sikeston, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Steve Vester, pastor of Old Bethel Baptist Church in Sikeston.
Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be Clyde Lee Launius, John Scarbrough, Russell Weekley Jr., Charles Campbell, John Southern and Michael Dillender.
