MARSTON - Audra Emma Hampton, 94, died Aug. 12, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Jan. 20, 1910, in Clearmore, Okla., daughter of the late Wesley and Laura Bell Hubbart Froman, she was a member of the Pentecostal Church of Marston.
Her husband, John D. Hampton, preceded her in death.
Survivors include: four sons, Lester Hampton of East St. Louis, Ill., Charlie Hampton of Indiana, Billy Joe Hampton of Doniphan and Leon Hampton of Marston; two daughters, Margie Vent of Bryan, Ohio, and Margaret Poncsak of West Unity, Ohio; and 28 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were three sons, Delmar Hampton, Edward Hampton and Earnest Hampton; four brothers, John Froman, William Froman, Gus Froman and Earnest Froman; two sisters, Lula Hampton and Eliza Curtis; and one grandson.
Visitation is from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Sunday. The Rev. Frank Townsend will officiate.
Burial will follow in Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn.
