EAST PRAIRIE - Linda Fay McGill Hutson, 52, died at 8:29 a.m. Dec. 8, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born March 24, 1951, in Cairo, Ill., daughter of Fay Eva Weems McGill of East Prairie and the late James Harrison McGill, she lived in East Prairie most of her life. She was a medical technician for the East Prairie Nursing Center for 17 years and was currently employed with the Mississippi County Detention Center. She was of the Baptist belief.
On Nov. 9, 1969, she married Roger Keith Hutson who preceded her in death on April 3, 1970.
Survivors in addition to her mother include: one daughter and son-in-law, Dana and Robert Robertson of East Prairie; one stepson, Randal Bergin of Bonita, Texas; three brothers, John McGill and Charles McGill of East Prairie and Steve McGill of Anniston; one sister, Peggy McGill of East Prairie; and one granddaughter, Jessica Lynn Robertson of East Prairie.
She was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Jimmy Ray McGill.
Visitation begins at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Shelby Funeral Home, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday. Mike Johnson and James Day will officiate.
Burial will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Larry Boyer, Curtis Boyer, Kenny Weems, Eugene Weems, Bobby Carlyle and Phillip Carlyle.
