Poplar Bluff Showdown set

POPLAR BLUFF -- The 17th Annual Poplar Bluff Showdown will take place Dec. 29-31 at the Black River Coliseum in Poplar Bluff.

The event will start at 4 p.m. on Dec. 29 with Columbia Hickman versus Caruthersville.

Little Rock's Parkview Arts will play Crim High from Atlanta at 5:30.

Poplar Bluff will face Memphis Northside at 7 p.m., then Austin East out of Knoxville, Tenn., will play Little Rock Mills at 8:30 p.m.

Semifinal games will be played on Dec. 30, followed by the finals on Dec. 31.
