Mary Ross

CHAFFEE - Mary Ross, 54, died at 7:15 p.m. Dec. 31, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Aug. 26, 1949, in New Madrid County, daughter of the late Harry and Helen Young Burns, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chaffee.

She married James Ross who survives of Chaffee.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Paulina Flynn of Cape Girardeau; four brothers, Joe Brown of Yuma, Ariz., Elmer Burns of Sikeston, Hurbert Burns of Lexington and Leon Crumb of Qulin; and two sisters, Marie Muhls of Sikeston and Carolyn Shumpert of Qulin.

One brother preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 1 p.m. Tuesday until service time at 2 p.m. at the House of Prayer in Chaffee. The Rev. Dave McCormick will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Ross Cemetery at Chaffee.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel of Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.
