SCOTT CITY - Raymond Lee Calhoun, 71, formerly of East Prairie, died at 3 p.m. Dec. 21, 2003, at his home.
Born July 14, 1932, in East Prairie, son of the late Carroll "Banny" and Lillie May Rose Calhoun, he was a retired warehouse worker and member of the Pentecostal Church of Marston.
In January 1960, he married Ruie Elizabeth Ledbetter who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: five sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Julia Craddock of Jackson, Donnie Ray and Joyce Metheny of East Prairie, William and Rein Nolen of Portland, Ore.; Raymond W. and Teresa Calhoun of Banning, Calif., and Jimmy Ray and Phyllis Calhoun of Scott City; two brothers, Adam Ray Calhoun of Sebring, Fla., and Charles Hicks of Miami, Okla.; and 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Ronnie Metheny and James L. Calhoun.
Visitation begins at 11 a.m. Friday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery with Richard Farquhar, officiating.
