EAST PRAIRIE - Violet L. Zellner, 58, formerly of Cypress, Calif., died at 12:01 a.m. March 16, 2002, at the East Prairie Nursing Center.
Born Sept. 24, 1943, in Mansfield, Texas, daughter of the late William Carl and Luetesue Miller Gosnell, she was a nurse aide in California before retiring and was of the Baptist belief.
Her husband, Vernon Zellner of Cypress, survives.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Betty Carson of East Prairie; one son, Donald Zellner of Mojave, Calif.; one brother, Edward Gosnell of Riverside, Calif.; two sisters, Margie Lindsey of California and Doris Coleman of Hallsville, Texas; and one granddaughter, Jennifer Carson of East Prairie.
One grandson, Edward Carson, preceded her in death.
No visitation or services are scheduled.
Shelby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
