SIKESTON -- Keith and Debbie Gregston have announced the engagement of their son, Christopher Corey, to Katherine Elliott Zagar, daughter of Robert and Louann Zagar of St. Louis.

A 1995 graduate of Lindbergh High School, the future bride graduated in 1999 from Westminster College. She is a second grade teacher with the Lindbergh School District.

Gregston graduated in 1995 from Sikeston High School and in 1999 from Southwest Missouri State University at Springfield. He is a manager for SBC in St. Louis.

The couple will exchange wedding vows in an Oct. 7 ceremony at Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
