TALLAPOOSA -- The Rev. Bruce Laughvonn White, 72, died Sept. 21, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born Dec. 15, 1931, in Lawrenceburg, Tenn., son of the late James Othel and Annie L. Cassell White, he retired as a road foreman for the highway department. He was a member and pastor of Oneness Pentecostal Church in Tallapoosa.

On Jan. 9, 1948, in Piggott, Ark., he married Ruth Mae Wagner who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: seven sons and daughters-in-law, Dillard and Donna White and Larry and Patty White of LaForge, James and Cathy White of Portageville, David and Cheryl White of Matthews, Jeff and Debbie White of Malden, Mark and Kristi White of Risco and Robert and Annette White of Campbell; seven daughters and sons-in-law, Beatrice and Carl Hardin Jr., Linda and Darryl White and Beth and Greg Bixler of Risco, Shirley and Glenn Clyburn of Malden, Sharon and Marty Carlisle of Tallapoosa, Naomia and Terry Stevens of Marston and Angela and Mike Martin of Baderville; one brother, James Osban White of Mishawaka, Ind.; and 40 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

One brother, Huston White; one sister, Genolia Fields; one grandson; and one great-grandson preceded him in death.

Visitation is after 5 p.m. today at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. James White will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Mounds Cemetery at Lilbourn.
