PERKINS - Lydia Hogg, 97, died at 12:39 a.m. March 6, 2004, at her home.
Born Sept. 17, 1906, in Golconda, Ill., daughter of the late Joseph and Kate Hollman Story, she was a member of the Perkins Needle Club and was of the Baptist belief.
On Nov. 4, 1922, she married James Hogg who preceded her in death on March 3, 1963.
Survivors include: one son, Clyde Hogg of Bell City; four daughters, Alpha Pierce of Salem, Ill., Ruby Burgess of Montrose, Mich., Millie Tropf of Bell City and Linda Tankersley of Perkins; and 20 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 30 great-great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were one daughter, Rosemary Hogg, and three brothers.
Visitation begins at 5 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Ed Moncada will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery at Perkins.
