Portageville accident is investigated

PORTAGEVILLE - A fatal accident in under investigation today by the Portageville Police Department.

At 6:10 a.m. a vehicle driven by a man apparently struck a concrete post in a parking lot. The victim, whose name is being withheld until the notification of relatives, was pronounced dead shortly after the accident.
