MURRAY, Ky. -- Rhonda Carleen Caughlin and Benjamin Christian Werner were married in a 6:30 p.m. ceremony April 12, 2003, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church before A.J. Wollenburg, pastor of Concordia Lutheran Church in Sikeston, Mo.
Providing music for the occasion were vocalist Mark Nelson of Springfield, Mo., and musician Onieda White of Murray.
The bride is the daughter of Sonny and Faye Caughlin of Elkton, and her husband is the son of Norman and Susan Werner of Sikeston.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Tiffany Weingartner of Cambridge, Ohio, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Stefanie Sharp of Columbia, Mo., Susan Caughlin of Elkton, Dusty Harrell of Dothan, Ala., and Nena Lorenz of Sikeston.
Micah Werner of Sikeston served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Jason Almand of Paris, Tenn., Nathan Lorenz of Sikeston, Todd Stein of Mayfield and John McCuiston of Trenton.
Blake Adamson, son of Scott and Amy Adamson of Baldwin City, Kan., was ringbearer.
Ushers were Lynn Kadlec of Racine, Wis., Drew Hess of Sikeston, Jeremy Bradley of Cedar Grove, Tenn., and Grant Norwood of Paris.
A reception was held at Ken Lake Lodge in Aurora. Sharon Shanklin of Elkton, aunt of the bride; Laura Richmond of San Diego, Calif., cousin of the bride; and Lynette Shirrell of Sikeston were reception assistants.
Following a honeymoon to Las Vegas, Nev., the new Mr. and Mrs. Werner are residing in Madisonville.
