Potosi won the competition with 32 points. Kelly finished with 285 points, but they were named the small school champion and were awarded a plaque for their efforts.
Trey Simmons was the only Hawk to medal after he finished in 28th place with a time of 18:30. Others that competed but did not medal were Jordan Felter (50th - 19:49), Nolen Lewer (66th - 20:31), Michael Glastetter (68th - 20:34), Derek Brucker (70th - 20:53) and Brandon Ayers (80th - 21:12).
Junior varsity members that competed and finished for Kelly were Todd Brucker (22:09) and John Cooper (22:28) on the boys side. Leigh Ann Bucheit (28:06), Patricia Quillman (28:26) and Cara Klipfel (31:45) competed and finished for the girls.
Kelly will compete in the SEMO Conference meet on Thursday at 4 p.m.
