SIKESTON -- Henry Elderbrook, 76, died Oct. 13, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born March 31, 1926, in Matthews, son of the late William "Willie" and Delpha Pierce Elderbrook, he was of the Baptist belief and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked as a plumber for the Veterans Administration Hospital before retiring.
Survivors include: two daughters and one son-in-law: Rhonda Lawson and June and Gary Crump of St. Louis; two sisters, Helen Ponder of Charleston and Gwen Faulkner of Jerseyville, Ill.; four grandchildren and spouses, Denise and Mike Minor of Imperial, Bob Johnson of Cedar Hill, and Mike Crump and Julie and Tony of Arnold; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, two sisters preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. David Jackson, associate pastor of First Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Sikeston Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Gary Crump, Mike Minor, John Ponder, Rudy Ponder, Bob Johnson and Billy Ponder.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Gene Newman and Bill Ponder.
