SIKESTON -- End of the season tournaments got underway in Sikeston Area Youth Baseball Tuesday night.

Individual information was not provided.

In the National League tourney, fourth-seeded Burger King defeated fifth-seeded Lewis. The King will now play the top-seeded Lions today at 7:30 p.m.

Seventh-seeded Kiwanis upset the second-seeded Jaycees.

Kiwanis will face the winner of tonight's Legion-House of Color game in the other semifinal Thursday at 6 p.m. The National League championship game will take place Friday at 6 p.m.

In the American League, Fabrite played Old Security and Fabick took on Blanchard. Results were not available. Tonight the Elks will play Steward Steel in a first-round game at 6 p.m. Sonny's Solid Waste got a first-round bye and will play the winner of the Fabrite-Old Security game on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

The other semifinal will take place Thursday at 6 p.m., then the championship will be played Friday at 6 p.m.

Junior Babe Ruth and Musial League tournament games were canceled. First-round results from Rookie League games were not available.
