Born Dec. 25, 1933, in Morrillton, Ark., daughter of the late Spurley and Della Greenlaw Payne, she was a member of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Malden.
Survivors include: five daughters, Ann Payne and Dorothy Taylor of Champaign, Ill., Odessa Kimbrough of Plano, Texas, Brenda Daniels of Sacramento, Calif., and Ethel Moon of Colorado Springs, Colo.; three sons, Alfred Payne and Vernon Payne of St. Louis and Steve Payne of Sacramento; two sisters, Effie Walker of Malden and Teresa Johnson of Champaign; one brother, Charles C. Payne of Malden; and 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers, Ike Payne, Willie Payne, Tollie Payne, West Payne, Eddie Payne, Arthur Payne and U.C. Payne; and four sisters, Thedis Chriswell, Arlee Webster, Anna Murl Payne and Christine Payne.
Visitation begins at 7 p.m. Friday at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Cleveland Brown officiating.
Burial will follow in Simmons Park Cemetery at Catron.
