Sylvia Coopwood

CHARLESTON - Sylvia "Ree Ree" Coopwood, 53, died Sept. 15, 2004, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born March 3, 1951, in Mound City, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Alfreddie and Catherine Taylor Coopwood and affiliated with the Baptist church.

Survivors include: two sons, Jeffery Coopwood and Robert Coopwood of Wilson City; two daughters, Ann Williams of Wilson City and Latasha Coopwood of Marshall; two sisters, Alfredia Fann of Milwaukee, Wis., and Twala Blackmon of Benton Harbor, Mich.; one brother, Ray Roberson of Mound City; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be at the Mercy Seat Baptist Church in Charleston from noon Friday until time for services at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. J.L. Nabors will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery under the directions of the Williams Funeral Home of Charleston.
