State's Vacation Planners now available at CVB

Sunday, December 19, 2004

The 2005 Vacation Planners are here, just in time for you to start making travel plans for next year and they are loaded with so much to do you won't want to leave the state.

The planner is designed to help visitors plan and create lasting memories while vacationing right here in the Show-Me-State. It showcases numerous attractions from aquariums to zoos, fishing streams to wineries, and destinations along the way. Special sections include children's attractions, agritourism opportunities, historical homes, new things to see and do, and peculiar points, which spotlights some of Missouri's favorite oddities.

The cities of Sikeston and Miner are very well represented in the Vacation Planner. Each year we receive thousands of requests for more information from our area and most of them are from readers of the Vacation Planner.

Just this week, 12 young people from the Hope Center came to the CVB and helped us stuff couple of thousand Visitor Packets. So we're ready for the first requests that come in.

If you would like a free 2005 Missouri Vacation Planner, just stop by the Convention and Visitors Bureau at 1 Industrial Drive and we'll be glad to get you one.

The boards and staff of the CVB would like to wish everyone safe and happy holidays.
