CLEARWATER, Fla. - Neisha Rebekah Hahs Humphreys, 89, formerly of Scott City, Mo., died at 9:55 p.m. March 27, 2004, at the Harborwood Nursing Home in Clearwater.
Born Dec. 8, 1914, in Cooter, Mo., daughter of the late Alvin P. and Grace Wagster Denton, she owned and operated Neisha's Beauty Salon in Scott City and was a member of the Scott City First Baptist Church.
On March 24, 1934, at Scott city, she married Eugene David Hahs who preceded her in death on Jan. 8, 1969. She and Joseph "Leland" Humphreys were married Dec. 13, 1970, in Scott City and he died April 6, 1990.
Survivors include: two sons, Don Hahs of Brecksville, Ohio, and David Hahs of Troy, Ill.; four sisters, Margaret Gallagher of Santa Fe, N.M., Charlotte Kimes of Topeka, Kan., Shirley Bode of Boise, Idaho, and Donna Biler of Chaffee, Mo.; and five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
One brother and three sisters also preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Terry Eades will officiate.
Burial will follow in Lightner Memorial Cemetery at Scott City.
