MARSTON - Roy Wayne Lovins, 62, died Dec. 20, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born March 9, 1941, in New Madrid County, son of the late Roy Lee and Alma Jean Dowdy Lovins, he was a past city judge for Marston and a former pastor of the Deliverance Tabernacle Church in Marston. He was a member of the Trinity Pentecostal Church of Marston and New Madrid County Civil Defense.

On July 11, 1959, at Marston, he married Frankie Davis who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Michelle Renae Brown and Tracy Elaine Noble of Marston; one son, Robert Wayne Lovins of Marston; two brothers, Gary Lovins of Portageville and Danny Lovins of Marston; one sister, Betty Jean Manning of Gideon; and four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Shelia Gail Lovins; and four brothers.

Services were conducted at 2 p.m. today at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid with the Rev. Larry Portwood of Gideon officiating.

Burial followed in Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn.
