DEXTER - Willena Daniel, 86, died Dec. 19, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Jan. 3, 1917, in Leora, daughter of the late Louie E. and Novella Varble Sielert, she lived in the Dexter area most of her life. A graduate of Dexter High School, she was a case worker for the Division of Family Services for 15 years. A member of the First Christian Church in Dexter, she was a former member of the Dexter Civic and Study Club.
On May 12, 1939, in Charleston, she married Dallas M. Daniel who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Don V. Daniel of Essex; and five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Preceding her in death were one son, L.J. Daniel on June 12, 1995; and one brother, Varble V. "Bud" Sielert on July 21, 2000.
Visitation is from 5 p.m. today until service time at 7:30 p.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Vaughn Wright of Dexter will officiate.
Burial will take place Tuesday morning at the Dexter Cemetery.
