Cecil Keller

MALDEN - The Rev. Cecil Graden Keller Sr., 75, died Feb. 10, 2002, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn.

Born Aug. 18, 1926, in Bernie, son of the late Sam and Myrtle Embry Keller, he was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He became a General Baptist minister in 1963 and has served churches in Missouri, Arkansas and Michigan, and was the present pastor of Parma General Baptist Church where he was a member.

On July 28, 1946, at Piggott, Ark., he married Elsie L. Ray who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Terry Miller of Neelyville; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Graden Keller of Houston, Texas, and Scott and Tammy Keller of Malden; two sisters, Agnes Brown of Malden and Geraldine Finch of Beloit, Wis.; and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Delia Dale; and four brothers, Orvel Keller, Everett Keller, LaRue Keller and Dawsey Keller.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Landess Funeral Home in Malden.

Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday at the First General Baptist Church in Malden with the Rev. Scott Keller and the Rev. Joe Williams officiating.

Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery at Bernie.
