SIKESTON - John and Becky Guthrie are the parents of their first child, a daughter, born at 9:12 p.m. Oct. 9, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. Vester Rosemary Guthrie weighed 6 pounds, 1 ounce and was 17-inches long.

Mrs. Guthrie, daughter of Tom and Linda Green of Charleston, is employed by Dairy Queen.

Guthrie, son of Nathan and Mary Guthrie of Charleston, is a roofer.
