PORTAGEVILLE - Sarah A. Kershall Wigfall, 63, died Aug. 10, 2004, at her home.
Born March 31, 1941, in Portageville, daughter of the late Anna Louis and Eugene Kershaw Sr., she was a longtime educator. A member of the Temple of God's Church in Portageville, she was of the Baptist belief.
On April 12, 1961, in Portageville, she married Washington Wigfall who preceded her in death in 1986.
Fourteen sisters and brothers and one granddaughter also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Dana Wigfall of Portageville; three daughters and sons-in-law, Marion and Michael Scott and Rachel and Johnny Haynes Sr. of Portageville and Stephannie and Glen Pirtle of Omaha, Neb.; one sister, Elizabeth Kershaw of Chicago, Ill.; and 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Temple of God's Glory with the Rev. Reginal Grant officiating.
Burial will follow in the Lily of the Valley Cemetery at Point Pleasant.
