Richard Roach

MATTHEWS - Richard Roach, 72, formerly of Mississippi County, died at 2:01 a.m. Nov. 24, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Sept. 24, 1930, in Mississippi County, son of the late John and Rosie Evans Roach, he lived in Matthews since 1989. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a retired automotive worker.

Survivors include: one daughter, Pam Myers of Matthews; two sons, John D. Roach of Pittsford, Mich., and Richard M. Roach of Toledo, Ohio; three sisters, Nadine Williams of East Prairie and Willie Blyzes and Mary Bishop of Pevely; and seven grandchildren.

One brother preceded him in death.

Visitation begins at 4 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.
