NEW MADRID - Looking for a way to describe the Perryville football team? Coach Larry Mueller has one. "We're average," said Mueller, whose team hosts New Madrid County Central in a 4A District 1 game Friday. "With a couple of points either way, we could be better or we could be worse," he said. "We've had a lot of close games and the last two (against Dexter and Jackson) were really emotional. Those were both close, but we had turnovers that hurt us both times." More turnovers worry Mueller going into Friday's game.

SIKESTON - Missouri Delta Medical Center will conduct an open house for the new Robert A. Dempster Restart Physical Medicine Complex Nov. 14.
