JACKSON - Leona May Greenlee, 90, formerly of Sikeston, died at 5:40 a.m. Feb. 16, 2003, at Jackson Manor.
Born May 6, 1912, in Canalou, daughter of the late George and Jessie Newton Dismuke, she was a homemaker and a resident of Jackson for the past 28 years.
On July 1, 1928, at Matthews, she married Roy Greenlee who preceded her in death on June 16, 1991.
She was also preceded in death by one son, one daughter, two brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, J.L. and Frances Greenlee of Sikeston; three daughters and one son-in-law, Edna Peetz and Lucreda Spears of Jackson and Darlene and Gary Hodkiss of Iona, Mich.; and 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston where services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Wednesday with his great-grandson, the Rev. Brandon Marshall of North Carolina, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Matthews Cemetery in Matthews.
