AMARILLO, Texas - John Kenneth Johnson, 56, died Jan. 21, 2005.
Born and raised in Chaffee, Mo., he had been a resident of Amarillo since 1987. He was employed for 37 years with the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad and a member of the Masonic Lodge, Lubbock Scottish Rite, York Rite and Khiva Temple (Drum Corps and Oriental Band). He served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era.
On June 6, 1970, at Memphis, Tenn., he married Patricia McBride who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Karmin and Michael Trumbly of Amarillo; one son, Christopher Johnson of Midland; one brother, Bill Johnson of Memphis, Tenn.; and a granddaughter.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel in Amarillo with the Rev. Robert Field officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memory Gardens Cemetery.
