ST. PETERS - Alfred A. Telker, 71, died Feb. 28, 2003, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Peters.
Born Aug. 9, 1931, in Charleston, son of the late William Raymond and Margaret Telker, he was an aerospace mechanic for McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft Corporation in St. Louis for 35 years before retiring. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1953-57 and was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Lodge 837D.
His wife, Carolyn Telker, survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, David A. Telker of Chicago, Ill.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Christina Telker and Michael Harris of St. Louis and Mary Beth and Sean Cotten of Collinsville, Ill.; two brothers, Joseph Telker and Charles Telker of Charleston; three sisters, Dorothy Uthoff, Wilma Bohannon and Frances Telker of Charleston; and two grandchildren.
One brother, Wilbert Telker, preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Baue Funeral and Memorial Center in St. Charles.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at All Saints Catholic Church in St. Peters.
