NEW HAMBURG - Chris and Beth Kern are the parents of their third daughter, born at 9:54 a.m. Dec. 30, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Baylee Grace Kern weighed 5 pounds, 14 ounces and was 18 1/2-inches long.

The former Beth Bailey, Mrs. Kern is the daughter of Pam and Tony Young of Blodgett and is a registered nurse in the St. Francis Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Kern, son of Bill and Luella Kern of New Hamburg, is an electrician for K&K Electric Company.

BENTON - Rhonda Sue Young and Thomas Page Hale are the parents of twin daughters, born Dec. 31, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Elizabeth Page Hale weighed 3 pounds, 9 ounces and was 16-inches long when she was born at 8:28 a.m. When Karabeth Pauline Hale arrived at 8:29 a.m., she weighed 3 pounds, 9 ounces and was 15 1/4-inches long.

Maternal grandparents are James Randy Young of Des Moines, Iowa, and the late Rita Mea Young.

Hale, son of Morris and Anna Hale of Benton, Thomas Simmerman of Conway, Ark., and the late Wanda Pauline Vinson, is employed by Ferrell Mobile Homes in Benton.

CHARLESTON - Calvin Eugene and Terri Kay Wilmurth are the parents of their first child, a daughter, born at 1:59 p.m. Dec. 31, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Daisy Kay Wilmurth weighed 8 pounds and was 19 1/2-inches long.

The former Terri McClain, Mrs. Wilmurth is the daughter of Gerald and Daisy McClain of Charleston.

Wilmurth is the son of Alberta Wilmurth of East Prairie and the late Billy Wilmurth.

MORLEY - Adam Graves and Bethany McNeely-Graves are the parents of their first child, a son, born at 10:58 a.m. Jan. 1, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Landon Isaac Graves weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces and was 20 1/2-inches long.

Mrs. Graves, daughter of Rick and Debbie McNeely of Morley, works in ministry.

Graves, son of Danny and Marylin Graves of DeRidder, La., is employed by Tetra Pak and works in ministry with Christ to the World.

Maternal great-grandparents are Robert and Deborah Russell of Morley.

Paternal great-grandparents are Tory and Barbar Chitty of DeRidder.

SIKESTON - James and Casey Land III are the parents of their first child, a daughter, born Jan. 3, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. Trinity Ellen-Annette Land weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces and was 19 1/2-inches long.

Mrs. Land is the daughter of Dennis and Lea Eppestine and Jane Eppestine.

Land, son of Renetta Land and James Land II, is employed by Quertermous Masonry.
