SIKESTON - Otha Lee Murdock, 81, formerly of Crowder, died at 1 a.m. Feb. 24, 2003, at the Clearview Nursing Center.
Born March 27, 1921, in Maynard, Ark., son of the late Gussie and Lillie Graham Murdock, he was a member of Shady Acres Church of Christ. He was a self-employed window installer and U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
On Dec. 7, 1956, in St. Louis, he married Laura Adkins who preceded him in death on Oct. 2, 2000.
Survivors include: two sons, Tom Murdock and Robert Murdock of Sikeston; one daughter, Peggy Chappell of Sikeston; one brother, Gussie Junior Murdock of Knoxville, Tenn.; one half brother, Claude Anspach of Bell City; two half sisters, Sue Anspach of High Ridge and Lucy Anspach of Farmington; and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
One sister also preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 5 to 6 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel.
The body will be cremated and no services are planned.
