HAYWOOD CITY - Louise "Red" Wiley, 74, died Jan. 28, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born Feb. 5, 1928, in Shuqualak, Miss., daughter of the late Harry and Lorean Hardin Jones, she lived in Missouri since 1954 and was a member of the New Morning Star Baptist Church in Haywood City.

On Jan. 27, 1960, she married Thomas Wiley who preceded her in death.

Survivors include: one son, Thomas Wiley Jr. of Haywood City; one daughter, Linda Williams of Haywood City; three brothers, Kenny Jones of Sikeston, Harry Jones of LaVergne, Tenn., and Willie Jones of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Mary Hardin and Mattie Ford of St. Louis, Estella Sharp of Haywood City and Alberta Davis of Mount Vernon, N.Y.; and three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. Saturday until service time at 1 p.m. at the New Morning Star Baptist Church with the Rev. Alex Sims, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Haywood Cemetery.

Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
