Tessie Freeman

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Tessie Delores Freeman, 76, died Nov. 28, 2002, in Sacramento, following an extended illness.

Born Jan. 30, 1926, in Sikeston, Mo., daughter of the late Prather and Laura Ingram, she was a 1944 graduate of Sikeston High School and attended Trevacca Nazarene College in Nashville, Tenn. She was a member of the Northside Nazarene Church in Sikeston and was an executive for the Lambert Marketing import-export company for more than 25 years before retiring.

On Jan. 10, 1946, she married James Freeman who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one brother, Lynn Ingram of Sikeston; one sister, Frances Schmerbauch of Sacramento; two nieces, Debbie Brinkman of Sikeston and Beverly Carney of Jefferson City, Mo.; one nephew, Mark Ingram of Palm Springs, Calif.; two aunts, Barry Dillender and Ella B. Turner of Sikeston; and several cousins of Sikeston.

Services will be conducted today in Sacramento.
