Born Aug. 27, 1915, at Puxico, daughter of the late Kenneth John and Illa Mae Reynolds Kornegger, she was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Bloomfield. She and her husband owned a Western Auto Store in the community for many years.
On Jan. 27, 1940, she married Elmer Spangler who preceded her in death on May 7, 2002.
Survivors include: two daughters, Helen Hopkins of St. Louis and Charlette Kennedy of Branson West; one sister, May Illa Teichman of Willis, Texas; and two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and three great-stepgrandchildren.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Ron Dunavin will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
