Bud Schatte

ADVANCE -- Charles W. "Bud" Schatte, 69, died Nov. 14, 2002, at his home.

Born March 12, 1933, at Advance, the son of the late John and Lena Miller Schatte, he was a farmer and member of the Zalma General Baptist Church.

On July 27, 1957, in Hernando, Miss., he married Betty Kuykendall who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Randy Schatte of Swinton; two daughters, Theresa Wilhitt and Vicky Oller of Swinton; one brother, Lucky Schatte of Advance; four sisters, Pearl Winchester, Ida Nell Younger and Lora Sue Owens of Advance and Mildred Conrad of Cape Girardeau; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

One son and one nephew preceded him in death.

Services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel. The Revs. Keith Price and Earl Elfrink will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Morgan Memorial Park.
