MOREHOUSE - Heath and Angelia Thomas are the parents of their second child, first son, born at 10:18 a.m. May 14, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Heath Michael Thomas weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces and was 20-inches long.

Mrs. Thomas is the daughter of John and Michi Launius and Debbie and David Franks.

Thomas, son of Jane Thomas and Mike and Linda Thomas, is a contractor.

Wicker

EAST PRAIRIE - Doyle L. and Angela Suzanne Wicker Jr. are the parents of their second daughter, born at 4:57 p.m. May 14, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Kaitlyn Danielle Wicker weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces and was 18 1/2-inches long.

The former Angela Pope, Mrs. Wicker is the daughter of Bill and Barbara Pope of East Prairie. She is a teacher for East Prairie R-2 schools.

Wicker, son of Claudeen Russell of Bertrand, is an administrative non-commissioned officer with the Missouri National Guard.

Vanness

MORLEY - Taylor Gene and Melissa Dawn Vanness are the parents of their first child, a daughter, born at 8:42 p.m. May 14, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Emma RaeAnn Vanness weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces and was 20-inches long.

The former Melissa Melton, Mrs. Vanness is the daughter of John and Jan Massey of Benton. She is a teller for U.S. Bank.

Vanness, son of Steven F. Vanness and Susan M. Vanness of Green Bay, Wis., is operations manager for Atlas Cold Storage.

Brewer

PERRYVILLE - Craig Dennis and Angela Lauren Brewer are the parents of their second daughter, born at 5:50 p.m. May 5, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Alana "Kate" Brewer weighed 9 pounds, 3 ounces and was 21 1/2-inches long.

The former Angela Brazel, Mrs. Brewer is the daughter of Larry and Beechy Brazel of Charleston. She is a psychologist for Perry County School District 32.

Brewer, son of Dennis Brewer of Perryville and the late Judith Brewer, is an attorney with the Brewer Law Firm.
