LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Louise Boston, 93, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died at 3:30 p.m. Feb. 19, 2003, at the Baptist Hospital in Little Rock.
Born Aug. 22, 1909, in Murray, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Herman and Zadie Wells Bridges. She was co-owner and operator of Boston's Grocery and Boston's Dairy Cream in Sikeston, where she was also a member of Hunter Memorial First Presbyterian Church.
On June 2, 1928, in Cairo, Ill., she married Roy C. Boston who preceded her in death on Feb. 14, 1986.
Survivors include: one son, Larry Boston of Little Rock; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Riddle of Mayfield, Ky., and Willa Mae Miller of Anna, Ill.; and three grandchildren.
Two brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Visitation is from noon Friday until service time at 2 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Rufus McLean, pastor of Hunter Memorial First Presbyterian Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
