Sydney Stroup

SCOTT CITY - Sydney Alan Stroup, son of Glendon Ray and Erica Susan Partin Stroup, died at birth at 12:53 p.m. Jan. 24, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Other survivors include: one sister, Rylee Stroup of Scott City; maternal grandparents, Ben and Liana Partin of Scott City; paternal grandparents, Randy and Deb Stroup of Chaffee and Janice and Edward Thomas of Jacksonville, N.C.; maternal great-grandparents, Joe and Billie Minor of Chaffee; paternal great-grandmother, Jeanie Stroup of Chaffee; and his paternal great-great-grandmother, Mabel Alston of Chaffee.

Graveside services were conducted Sunday at the Oakdale Cemetery in Commerce with the Rev. Terry Eades, officiating.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel of Chaffee was in charge of arrangements.
