EAST PRAIRIE - Carma Celeste Wicker True, 41, died at 4 a.m. Feb. 18, 2003, at her home.

Born July 16, 1961, in Granite City, Ill., daughter of Delois Pemberton Wicker of Charleston and the late Robert B. Wicker Jr., she lived in Charleston and East Prairie most of her life and was a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Charleston.

On June 15, 1996, she married Joe Bob True who survives of the home.

Survivors in addition to her husband and mother include: one son Michael Crump of Fisk; one brother, Robert Phillip Wicker of St. Louis; two sisters, Angie Byford of Bertrand and Rhonda Patrick of Charleston; and one grandson, Devon Crump of Fisk.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Jon Archie, pastor of the Elm Street Baptist Church in Charleston will officiate.

Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.

Pallbearers will be Joey Cross, Pete Chaney, Andy Oliver, Ronnie NEal, Bob Thurman, Johnny Tatum and Ronnie Morelan.
