SIKESTON - Kathryne Lucille Knox Conrad, 78, died Feb. 17, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
Born June 8, 1924, in Longtown, daughter of the late Bert and Clara Tacke Knox, she was a member of Hunter Memorial First Presbyterian Church. She worked for DeWitt's Nursery before retiring in June 2002.
On April 17, 1943, in Cape Girardeau, she married Howard Keith Conrad who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Richard N. Chapman of Florence, S.C.; one grandson, Richard Keith Chapman of Collingswood, N.J.; one nephew, Steve Hermeyer of Oregon; two nieces, Virginia Corno of St. Louis and Barbara Dillingham of Ellensburg, Wash.; one great-nephew, Eric Hermeyer of Fort Worth, Texas; plus other nieces and nephews in her family.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Woodrow Knox; and two sisters, Inez Anzalone and Imogene Hermeyer.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Rufus McClean, pastor of Hunter Memorial First Presbyterian Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
