EAST PRAIRIE - Mona Nadine Andrews, 75, died at 3 p.m. Feb. 13, 2003, at her home.
Born Aug. 30, 1927, in St. Louis, daughter of the late Claude Thornbrough and Mona Carter Thornbrough Traylor, she lived in East Prairie since 1974, where she was a retired florist and member of the First Assembly of God Church. She was a former resident of Citrus Heights, Calif., and Paris, Tenn.
On Dec. 14, 1946, she married Murlin Wallace Andrews who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Murlin Keith Andrews of Utica, Ohio; two daughters, Cynthia R. Watkins of Nashville, Tenn., and Jeanne Blanton Cowger of Sikeston; and seven grandchildren, Wendi Sue Andrews, Brian Keith Andrews, Andrew Duaine Andrews, Toni Elizabeth Andrews, Kyleigh Ann Cowger, Jams Andrew Cowger and Mallory Blanton Cowger.
She was preceded in death by one son, Claude Rowland Andrews; and her stepfather, Blanton Traylor.
Visitation begins at 5 p.m. Saturday at Shelby Funeral Home, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday with Richard Dement, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
