PUXICO - Human remains have been found near Puxico.
According to Stoddard County Sheriff Steve Fish, a Puxico resident was looking for deer antlers approximately two miles west of Puxico when human skeletal remains were found.
The remains will be sent to a pathology lab in Farmington where the sex and age of the victim will be determined. Officials are hopeful that the identity of the victim will also be learned.
Investigation is continuing by the Stoddard County Sheriff's Department and Missouri Highway Patrol.
