CHARLESTON -- Sylvia Lee Wilson Parker, 64, died at 8 p.m. June 7, 2004, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Sept. 11, 1939, in Salcedo, to the late Harvey Christopher and Lena Geneva Riley Wilson, she had lived in Mississippi County most of her life and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Charleston.
On July 9, 1960, she married James W. Parker who preceded her in death on Sept. 27, 1997.
Survivors include: one son, Terry Allen Parker of Charleston; three daughters, Mary Ann Parker of Orlando, Fla., Pamela Sue Black of Titusville, Fla., and Leslie Dawn Parker of Charleston; one sister, Bonnie Wilson of Cape Girardeau; and two grandchildren, Heather Katherine Black and Tyler Nash Black of Titusville.
One daughter, Melissa Jean Parker; and one brother, Raymond Wilson, preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Keith Huffman, interim pastor of the First Baptist Church of Charleston, will officiate.
Private burial will follow at the IOOF Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Ray Presson, Roy Presson, Tim Layton, Hoyt Barnes, Bruce Austin and Blake Branum.
