Born Feb. 9, 1959, in Bloomfield, son of the late Leonard and Juanita Holford Baker, he was a lifelong resident of the Bloomfield area. He was a truck driver and attended the Walker General Baptist Church.
On April 10, 1999, he married Leta Lewis who survives in the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Joseph Bostic of Bloomfield; two brothers, Lester Baker of Essex and Bill Baker of Bloomfield; three sisters, Doris Linder of Salem, Ill., Barbara Wilkinson of Iuka, Ill., and Linda McRoy of Bloomfield; two grandchildren; and his stepfather, Cecil Bostic of Bloomfield.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
Services were conducted Saturday at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Holland officiating.
Burial followed in the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield.
