The Red Devils held a 10-point lead late in the game, but saw Oak Ridge rally back and take control.
Chaffee kept its composure, regained the lead and held on for the three-point victory.
"I was proud of our guys for not falling apart under the pressure there at the end," said Chaffee head coach David Mirly. "We were able to maintain it and hit some big free throws down the stretch."
Sam Burnett had a big night for the Red Devils, scoring a game-high 23 points. James Reischman contributed nine in the win.
"Sam Burnett really did a good job for us in the scoring column tonight," said Mirly. "It's a big win for us, after the disappointing loss we had (Monday night) to Meadow Heights. We were pretty down on ourselves after suffering such a bad loss."
Chaffee (2-13) will be back in action on Saturday in the conference tournament. Their opponent has yet to be decided.
