Born Dec. 18, 1962, in Sikeston, to Ralph V. Parker of Bevier and Evelyn Huff McLaughlin of St. Clair, he was a member of the Callao Christian Church and was ordained into the Christian Church ministry in the past year. He was a long-time employee of the Norfolk and Western Railroad.
On July 11, 1996, at Callao, he married Connie Stevens who survives.
Other survivors in addition to his wife and parents are: one son, Rhett Parker of Macon; one brother, Joseph Parker of Ballwin; seven aunts and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Radie and Gladys Parker and Bud and Judy Huff.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday at the Carney-Armstrong Funeral Chapel in Bevier with the Rev. Rev. Patrick Leonard officiating.
Cremation followed the funeral service.
