SIKESTON - Mr. and Mrs. Dee Bottles are parents of a daughter, Barbara Lee, born Oct. 20. Mr. and Mrs. Bottles live on Route 2 near Sikeston.

SIKESTON - The Delta Community Concert Association announces that arrangements have been completed to present concerts on Nov. 14 and Dec. 9.

SIKESTON - Sikeston's varsity volleyball team closed out its season in the district tournament game at Poplar Bluff Monday. Members of the squad include: Evelyn Hunt, Pam Layton, Bridgette Robinson, Yumika Patterson, Lynda Stevener, Lyne Smollen, Jana Evans and Coach Janie Merrick.

MOREHOUSE - Viva J. Sexton, who retired Sept. 29 after 20 years of service from the United Postal Service, was guest of honor at a surprise dinner Oct. 9 at the Hickory Log in Dexter.

SIKESTON - Morgan Hill, 4-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Hill of Poplar Bluff and Clay Dover, 4-year-old son of John and Kay Dover of Bell City were chosen as the Tiny Tot King and Queen during the American Legion Fall Festival. First runners-up are Amelia Porter, 4, and Wally Hastings, 3, both of New Madrid; second runners-up are Lindley Duncan, 4, of Sikeston and Jimmy Sides, also age 4.
