FLORISSANT - Rebekah Hughes, 25, died Jan. 6, 2003, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in North St. Louis County.

Born July 23, 1977, in Dexter, daughter of Jim and Susan Gunn Hughes of Jackson, she was a former resident of Pauls Valley, Okla., where she graduated from Pauls Valley High School. She attended Gateway Bible College in Florissant for two years and lived in St. Louis for the past four years, where she worked for Starbeam Lighting Company and Marty Carsillus Dodge Mitsubishi. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church.

Survivors in addition to her parents include: one brother, Brad Hughes of Florissant; her paternal grandmother, Lois Hughes of Morehouse; maternal grandparents, James and Lottie Gunn of Dexter; and one niece, Breanna Hughes.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. L.W. Buller of Waggoner, Okla., and the Rev. Michael Boney of Pauls Valley will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery near Dexter.
