HERCULANEUM - Kary O. Haymes Robbins, 82, died Nov. 26, 2002, at Scenic View Skilled Care in Herculaneum.

Born March 12, 1920, in Joplin, daughter of the late Pryor Earl and Ouida Davis Haymes Sr., he was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau and Chapter 293 Order of the Eastern Star in New Madrid.

On Dec. 30, 1938, at Pittsburg, Kan., she married Bert Robbins who preceded her in death on July 25, 1983.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Randall P. and Linda Robbins of Sherman, Ill.; one daughter and son-in-law, Jettie A. and Gary Hobbs of Cedar Hill; and six grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Pryor Haymes; and two sisters, Maxine Varner and Velma Bunting.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau, where Eastern Star rites are scheduled for 7 p.m.

Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Lee Roy Quinn officiating.

A committal service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Ozark Memorial Cemetery in Joplin.
